- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆We have closed on 3 real estate transactions in the past 25 months. one in NJ, one in SC & one in Ilion. Ilion was the real estate transaction from hell. Last time I talked to Jim Franchi was the day after hewas recommended to me 2 years ago. he handed the job over to his legal assistant. the office can't handle emails, scanning, pdf files,& just doesn't care to communicate with client. We did this deal by mail & email. Between sending the packet of docs requiring our signatures to the wrong address, her lying about receiving emails, the added docs later & the death of the law partner, it cost us about $250 more than it should of & delayed the closing by 2 -3 weeks! We could not in good conscience recommend tis law firm.By Hillside Jones, November 11, 2016
